How much does the shopping tour cost?
USD $110 (about $350,000 COP) for the private vehicle, up to 4 people, for 4 to 5 hours with unlimited stops. Each extra hour is USD $19.
Is El Hueco safe?
It is a busy downtown commercial area and it works fine with normal city precautions. You go with a driver who knows where to park and which streets are worth walking.
What is Medellín actually good for buying?
Jeans and lingerie (the factories are here), leather goods, coffee, emeralds and handicrafts. Prices at the factory outlets are noticeably lower than at the malls.
Can you keep my shopping bags in the car?
Yes, that is exactly the point of the tour. You leave everything in the vehicle between stops and keep going with your hands free.
How do I book, and how fast do you reply?

How do I pay? Is there a deposit?
You hold any service with a 30% deposit and pay the rest at the end of the service, in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer (Nequi, Bancolombia), in Colombian pesos. If you are outside Colombia, you can pay the deposit by credit card. We send you the deposit details on WhatsApp when we confirm.
Does the driver speak English?
Our drivers are native Spanish speakers who handle conversational English for the key points of the route. If you want a fully bilingual guide, tell us when booking and we arrange one.
How far ahead should I book?
As soon as you have your dates. In high season (December and January, Holy Week and the Flower Festival in August) message us several days ahead; the rest of the year, write to us even if it is for tomorrow and we will tell you if there is availability.
What if we are more than 4?
The car, a Renault Sandero, comfortably carries 4 passengers. For larger groups we arrange a second vehicle with its own driver.
Can I change the date or cancel?
Yes. Moving the date or cancelling is just a WhatsApp message; we only ask for as much notice as you can give.
