Medellín's international airport (José María Córdova, code MDE) is in Rionegro, 45 to 60 minutes from the city — and arriving at 2 a.m. to negotiate a taxi with your luggage, or leaving at 4 a.m. hoping an app finds a car, is the worst possible start or end to a trip.

We track your flight number, so if you land late the driver is still there. Your driver waits for you at no extra cost, the price is closed before you get in, and the vehicle is a Renault Sandero with room for luggage. The service runs 24 hours a day, in both directions, every day of the year.

We are there anyway: the service runs 24 hours a day, every day, at the same price. If you land at midnight or fly out at 4 a.m., your driver is there at the agreed time, and for arrivals we track your flight.
How long is the ride from the airport in Rionegro to El Poblado?
45 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic in the Oriente tunnel and the time of day. José María Córdova Airport is in Rionegro, on the other side of the mountains, and the ride is direct, with no stops.

How do I pay? Is there a deposit?
You hold any service with a 30% deposit and pay the rest at the end of the service, in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer (Nequi, Bancolombia), in Colombian pesos. If you are outside Colombia, you can pay the deposit by credit card. We send you the deposit details on WhatsApp when we confirm.
Does the driver speak English?
Our drivers are native Spanish speakers who handle conversational English for the key points of the route. If you want a fully bilingual guide, tell us when booking and we arrange one.
How far ahead should I book?
As soon as you have your dates. In high season (December and January, Holy Week and the Flower Festival in August) message us several days ahead; the rest of the year, write to us even if it is for tomorrow and we will tell you if there is availability.
What if we are more than 4?
The car, a Renault Sandero, comfortably carries 4 passengers. For larger groups we arrange a second vehicle with its own driver.
Can I change the date or cancel?
Yes. Moving the date or cancelling is just a WhatsApp message; we only ask for as much notice as you can give.
